Description of Gourmet Living 6.25-Inch Olive Wood Pepper Mill - Wooden Pepper Grinder with Ceramic Grinding Mechanism - Unique Kitchen Tool Enclosed in Linen Bag

Each uniquely grained pepper mill is crafted from natural olive wood and measures approximately 6.25 inches in height with a diameter of 2.25 inches. With its classic design and distinctive grain lines, each pepper mill is a welcome addition to any kitchen, dining room or gourmet restaurant. Set pepper coarseness by adjusting the metal knob of the pepper mill. BEFORE USE, remove blue plastic protective seal from the ceramic grinder mechanism located at the bottom of the mill. Sold with a stylish linen gift bag, this functional wooden pepper mill is a great gift for friends and family. Consider buying more than one.

Fantastic item at Kitchenware & Gadgets

Great pepper grinder. The last thing we had was that the pepper had to either go through or the milk would grind it up. Not in this case.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Out of style

Beautiful and simple

Amazing thing. Well done. There is nothing special about the mill equipment, but it is not necessary. Beautiful to look at and functional.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Expensive

quality grinder. on kitchen utensils and gadgets

Bravo! It's tight; The grinding wheels are durable and can be adjusted to the selected cut. I've had trouble finding a good grinder, many now come with wheels other than ceramic. Not very good.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Zero

Beautiful but imperfect in kitchen utensils and gadgets

The wood is beautiful but there is a noticeable hairline crack and numerous surface scratches so while the wood may be attractive the finish is not. I would not buy it again and would not recommend it if you value high-quality workmanship.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Minor details

Looks good - performance and durability suck

Looks good - but roughness depends on how tight the top cap nut is on. If it's firm enough to hold the top securely, abrasive powders are best. Loosen it and you may get rough, but the nut loosens with almost every use. There is no grind setting on the bottom. Bottom line - if you cook a lot and use spices, don't pay attention. If you want a decorative element, that's fine.

Pros
  • Finally got it
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Waste of good wood

Where to start. The wood is beautiful, olive wood is a fantastic hardwood with intense marbling. But it's a pity these people use/waste it at all. They either don't have the right tools, know-how or ability to produce the right end product. The outside is pretty well done, in good shape, I would sand a bit more to really polish it properly. But inside it sucks, the big main chamber/hole is crooked, the place where the mechanism is attached is very sloppy. The area where the top sits in the body

Pros
  • Pepper mills
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes
