No experience required

No experience with hydroponics. I had watched a few videos on how hydroponics work, so when I opened the box and removed the parts it was obvious what each piece was for. It took less than five minutes to set up. I put the tub on a heated grow mat, filled the reservoir with plain water, set a few seeds in the rock wool in each cup, and covered the top with a folded garbage bag. I had seeds opening up the very next morning. I started some pole beans that already have true leafs in less than a…

Pros
  • Hydroponic systems allow for year-round growing
Cons
  • Limited ability to control pests in the hydroponic system

The pots are very tiny , not suitable for growing any plants.

The pots are way tinier which makes it harder to hold any plants straight. As the plants will grow there is no support for the plants to remain steady.

Pros
  • Maintain a healthy, fresh supply of herbs for cooking and garnishing
Cons
  • Risk of plant roots becoming entangled

I ordered these tubs to grow veggies in before transferring to a larger tub. These were my first purchase in my hydroponic farming journey.

Pros
  • Great for those who want to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle
Cons
  • May require additional support to prevent tipping over

Everything you need

The kit came with everything you need to start growing! I did have a few questions, but they were quick to respond with helpful answers.

Pros
  • Arrived on time, can't wait to use it! Looks like all the parts are there. This will be my first DWC.
Cons
  • We like it BUT is a lot smaller than what we expected. We have kale, Swiss chard in the system.

Good kit - doesn't include seeds

The kit is good - but I was surprised it didn't contain seeds. It clearly DOES NOT say it has seeds, but can be easily misread to think it does. They should sell it with seeds and fertilizer.

Pros
  • We love it and are considering ordering another one they are so easy to set up and use.
Cons
  • Potentially dangerous if water spills on electrical components

Pump Broken on Arrival

Great idea but terribly cheap. Pump did not work so I had to replace pump. For the $$ they need to include better pump. Also I bout the "kit” and did not receive seeds. Frustrating.

Pros
  • Its an good product smaller that what it looks likebin the picture buts it ok for beginners
Cons
  • Too small

THis is perfect for my needs.

I have never done hydroponics before so setting it up was a challenge BUT once you look at a few YouTube videos you can easily figure it out. The actual product is great. Im really pleased with it. The company was easy to get a hold of and get help from.

Pros
  • ✔ EASY USE, COMPLETE KIT… everything you need to grow your own organic food & herbs, includes airstone, rockwool, powerful air pump & medium sized DWC bucket, water indicator, assemble instructions, tube & clay pebble
Cons
  • Risk of mold and disease in the water-based system

An honest company with a good product

I like the product and when I had a problem with anything the company made good and fixed it right away and the only problem I had was the plug for the air pump was different than my sockets and tgey sent a new pump right out for free. The set up works great now.

Pros
  • Planted my Blueberry kush a few days ago. SavvyGrow is working on just as advertised!
Cons
  • Limited ability to grow larger plants

Kinda small but it will work!

I was surprised, I want to farm my own food because the planet is important to me. I lost count of how many little plastic bags were holding all the parts. kinda depressing that a company that is selling this kind of equipment would be so un-earth-friendly. Other than that everything was here, assembled well, and worked :)

Pros
  • A single system can grow multiple types of herbs at once
Cons
  • Not ideal for growing herbs that require varying amounts of moisture
