GSD Waffle Attachment Mandoline Slicer Review

This is a replacement for an identical mandolin that I bought many, many years ago. I've tried others and this is the easiest and best.

Sharp and reliable. I've had ours for years (doesn't need sharpening) and bought a new one just to get a flat cutting triangle that we lost when we moved.

Tame some practice to get it working properly. I like it but I don't like it. As soon as something comes to an end, there is a lot of waste that could not be reduced. I got it to make zucchini noodles.

This waffle cutter works great. A customer who gave it a bad rating uses it incorrectly. Very often customers don't follow the instructions and then think the product is to blame. Follow the instructions and this slicer knife will leave you indifferent. It makes excellent potato waffles.

I've been using this mandolin for years but they've "upgraded" the Guard and it's just unreliable. So if you buy this mandolin, it works great, but you must use it with a cut-free glove. Then it's quick and you don't waste so many vegetables. And you will be safe.

This attachment is great for preparing french fries, even if they are a bit small. Two stars removed because this blade is very difficult to snap into place as there is almost no gap and you have to bend the very strong plastic slightly for everything to fit knowing you'll have waffle fingers if you slip. Also ideal for pickled fries.

I've wanted one of these nifty little gadgets for a long time. I finally managed to make potato casseroles that were actually ready in the time they should have been. Very easy, made three large potatoes in no time. I think I will buy one of these gloves to protect my hands. I'm a little clumsy when it comes to anything spicy! I used the little guard long before I probably needed to, but I felt completely safe and the potato slices were amazing. Now I might be able to make good fries and I…
