Great mirror! - Tools and supplies

I bought Chrome with 7x magnification. Great mirror! I installed it in 10 minutes. Others have said that the swingarm won't stay in place, but I don't have that problem, it's stuck. When I put the mirror in the mount it didn't work at first, but I flipped the mirror and it worked. I agree with others that the cord isn't perfect, but I wanted it to connect to the mains rather than the battery so the light output would be good. It is excellent for applying makeup and plucking eyebrows.

7x magnification is too strong to shave

The mirror is really very good but I bought 7x magnification and it's not good for shaving. I use an electric razor and wanted to take a closer look so I didn't miss any areas. I stayed at the Marriott and they had these magnifying mirrors and they were great. 7X is too strong and you can see immediately that the area is small. You also need to be about 4 inches from the mirror to get blurry magnification. This might work for makeup, but not for shaving.

Pretty bright, but be careful when leveling your hand.

Installation is easy, but don't trust the alignment of the mounting holes. I made sure the mounting plate was perfectly level, only to find that the part attaching the arm allowed enough movement to allow the arm and mirror to sag slightly. It's just a little off level, but it's annoying and can be prevented by tightening your hand on the mount. Overall I'm still happy with this lighted mirror. The mirrors are very clear and there is enough light for my needs.

Doesn't stand up

Very disappointed with this mirror and the sellers. After installation I found that the actual part of the mirror will not stay upright - it almost falls to a horizontal position. I contacted the seller and asked if I could exchange it - I understand that occasionally you expire. But instead of replacing it, the seller told me to either 1) bend the bracket (which doesn't solve the problem because part of the wall is fixed, it's the mirror itself and the supports on the left and right sides that

Illuminated mirror is good. A few notes on the design and execution of the entire product.

Excellent mirror. At least that's what the wife says. I don't like how I see how many wrinkles I have. But in any case, the lighting is excellent. The quality of the mirrors themselves is excellent. The chrome finish is good. Two strikes: 1) Wrong type of screws attaching the mirror to the wall mounting plate. They provided a "countersunk" head mounting screw that doesn't work with the way the mirror is designed. They are the right size and thread type. It's just not the best option. 2) spiral…

Poor quality item

Poor quality item. I received the mirror right after installation for Christmas and it worked fine for a while but then the light stopped working. I contacted the seller, he sent a new mirror assembly with instructions on replacing parts. It took a long time to receive the parts and they ended up in the China Post mailbox. Installed a new mirror but the backlight didn't work. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the spring-loaded electrical contact in one of the pivoting mirror sockets…
