Size recommendation was great! In the end it was just right for my daughter. She likes it very much and sees him every week for gymnastics. Seems to have done well too. I wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang dry and it still looks new even though I've probably washed it 12-15 times already. I'll buy a few more next year.

Decent material but odd fit. My 53 inch 7.5 year old girl first tried a size 9-10 but it was too short for the body and was constricting the shoulders and crotch. She thought it was very beautiful, so I ordered a size larger than 11-12, which fit the body well in length, but was so bulging in the stomach and body that we had to reject it and also send it back for slim people, typical gymnastics figures

bought it for my grandson who is excited about his new ballet class, it fits perfectly and looks great! We only recently made up our minds in class and had to order something we were all happy with because like all parents who want their little ones to shine and be at the top of their game we found these amazing little princess outfits, the outfit arrived just in time for class to start. All are happy!

I ordered a size up and it fits my daughter well but the leg openings were so tight. We sent it back as ordering a different size would not fit her torso area. The lion's body looked beautiful, but the stitching around the legs looked very cheap. We were also missing a few pearls. They obviously fell off because where the gems were there were dots of orange (that looked like earwax) glue. I do not recommend this product.

I bought this size 9-10Y blue swimsuit for my slim 8 year old daughter. She wears a size 8 baby clothes. It fit the recommended size for 7-8Y so I bought a 9-10Y hoping it wouldn't sink and last longer. She definitely has a small grow room but 7-8 would be too small / she would run out in a week or two ;) The fabric is very nice and the color is lovely. The little jewels on it add a nice touch - my daughter loves it! I definitely recommend this swimsuit!
