Not exactly hard work.

Looks like ten year old shovels but doesn't work. The handle bends fairly easily when the pallet is loaded with construction debris or landscaping. Disappointment.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent

Finally a proper dustpan

I hate cheap plastic dustpans. I have to buy a year or two as they warp and break. We've been using it for a few months now and it's large and stays flat and sturdy once it's all out. I hope we will use it in 10 years.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Out of style

Functionality and durability

Quality product. The nice thin edge is great for picking up *any* dirt, be it sand, leaves or . fill out the form. On the way to ordering a few more to replace the 'nice' (but pretty much useless) rubber edges that are so prevalent.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Classic and durable Suitable for household needs

Just like you imagine a steel shovel. I have three enthusiastic children, so I always sweep or clean up. Scraping yogurt off the carpet, sweeping up a billion Cheerios, even getting rid of a mouse a cat brought into the house. This frying pan is up to the task. I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought another one.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long waiting time

It would be great if the metal dustpan didn't bend

I really wanted to, I was looking for a good good dustpan for collecting dust but it came bent so when I set it up ground to mine Sweeping piles in it will not sweep the pan. It's quite thick and heavy so it didn't bend during shipping. It was definitely packaged in that condition. Missed the return line and now stuck with a useless metal pan.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Too long to wait

5 stars for indoor or outdoor use.

This also depends on the use. At home, this shovel will last a lifetime if you're not using it as a cudgel. Very well made, durable and perfectly flat for sweeping up dust and fine particles. Outdoors is a different matter. Too shallow to collect leaves. You will sweep the leaves from one end and let the other fall out. I had one of these for 61 years until I lost it and probably left it in a portable bin. Plastic shovel manufacturers love you because plastic can't last that long. My motto is…

Just what you think a steel dustpan should be. I have three enthusiastic children, so I always sweep or clean up.
