Have been using it for a little over 3 months. I needed a rubber band with a decent taper and it was the solution from day one. The band is well made and fits my Pulsar watch perfectly. Some complain that silicone attracts lint, but I haven't had a problem with that. If I look down and see little bits of leather/sand/whatever on it, I just rub it with my jeans or with a piece of fabric and the pieces fall right off. I used a handy sizing guide to find the right size (20mm) strap for my 20 year old Victorinox watch. I almost made the mistake of ordering the 18mm band as that was the size of the old band.
