Compared to the outrageous prices dealers, locksmiths and hardware stores charge for these chip keys, this was a great purchase. I highly recommend that you craft spares while you have 2 working keys as it took 2 working keys to program the new ones. I was nervous but the instructions in the owner's manual were easy and took less than a minute to complete. Highly recommended.

I had a key for my 2001 Ford F-150 and as most people know you need a scanner to add extras when you only have one to start with. If you have two keys to start with and need a third or fourth, this can be done without any scan tools. These keys were cut at my local hardware store for only $1 a key. The first store I went to refused to cut them. For what it's worth I used an Autel MK808 scan tool to access the Ford PATS system and program these keys. Worked beautifully.
