Review on Keyless2Go New Uncut Transponder Ignition Car Key H72 Replacement - 2 Pack by Stephen Burgstaller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great on a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis

Walmart wouldn't cut keys, but a neighborhood hardware store cut both keys for $5. Walmart sold the same transceiver key (just one) for $61 + commission. The procedure for a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis requires TWO original keys, otherwise the keys will need to be programmed by the dealer. Steps: 1. Insert the original #1 key into the starter and turn it to the "on" position for 2-10 seconds.2. Remove key no. 1.3. Within 10 seconds, insert the original #2 key into the starter and turn it to the "on" position for 2-10 seconds.4. Remove key #2.5. Insert the original #2 key into the starter and turn it to the "on" position. After a few seconds, the security light (driver's side) should flash 3 times. not mine. Your car is now programmed with the new key. How do you know the key and procedure was successful? The car starts.
