Review on Keyless2Go New Uncut Transponder Ignition Car Key H72 Replacement - 2 Pack by Steve Tripp

WORKS WELL WITH MY OLD 1997 MERCURY SABLE

I have an old 1997 Mercury Sable with just a key and a keyless door lock control. I ordered a new uncut replacement H72 car key with Keyless2Go transponder ignition (2 pack), the mechanic cut them out ($4 each - Home Depot wouldn't cut them for me) and then followed the instructions in my car's owner's manual. Program transponders. Here are the instructions in case they help someone: 1- Turn the original transponder key from ON to OFF. 2- Remove the key and within 15 seconds insert a new key and turn it from OFF to ON. That's all! I programmed a second new key with the reprogrammed key as a test and it worked fine too. I didn't have to have 2 original keys programmed to program new ones (although this may be necessary on newer vehicles). This deal easily beat the price of $70 for a locksmith or Home Depot key and then some from a retailer! Not bad for a $20 investment and some time to explore and shop.
