This is a very cool tool. I like that it gets really hot. The cord is very long and the iron is very easy to use. It comes with a glove to protect your hands and a protective stand mat. I could straighten my hair as well as curl it in beachy waves. Without using any products.

I was watching videos on FB of these curling irons/straighteners and decided to give it a try. My hair is really fine and thin but it kept getting stuck in it making my hair look like I was trying to curl it. I followed the instructions, maybe it's just not for my hair type. Even when I tried curling, only the last inch of my hair held the curl. I already have a curling iron and thought they did the same so I won't be using it again. The rug that came with it was really nice and easy to store.

Honestly this doesn't even deserve one star. My hair is not thick, not curly and should be very easy to style. This product was awful, it doesn't glide through the hair at all, it pulls the hair out when you try to glide through it. I even tried opening it slightly and closing it quickly while spinning it and it still pulled. Add to that the dumb teeth and it's almost a 15th century torture device. I followed all the instructions (or lack thereof) and watched videos on how to rotate it…

I would give this item zero stars if I could. Cheap plastic. When fully heated, the entire stick becomes too hot to touch, not just the wafer. The plates have some kind of coating that doesn't glide hair well and I accidentally burned a strand of my hair as a result. I don't have the packaging anymore so I'll just have to toss this turkey in the trash.

Honestly I am not happy with this hair straightener. I liked trying it out after one of my hot tools died (which I loved), but the prongs on the sides pull on (and break) your hair so they don't slide through your hair as easily. When you use it to curl it's even worse and I had to stop a few times to fully unroll my hair and start over which doesn't leave a very nice curl. it also ALWAYS needs to be warmed up.
