loves birds! The chimes fell silent.

When our little one was almost 3 months old, he fell in love with these birds and little clockwork bells. By this time he had already outgrown the bassinet but we found a way to tie him to his crib. He loves birds! But after about 25 games, the bells fell silent. First there was one, and then it started sounding terribly out of tune with a lot of missing notes.

Lovely Mobile for Halo Bassinest

I really think this is a good basic mobile phone. I have a pom pom and simple colors are good for a newborn. The included motor (which plays a lullaby) is very cheap and literally requires you to rev it up every minute or so. I spend a few bucks more to buy a separate motor which is much better and then I think it will work. Didn't notice it leaned forward like other reviews say.

Pros
  • Gently rotates to play a Brahms lullaby.
Cons
  • No Instructions

Star added for excellent customer service

The company's customer service was excellent. It arrived with a broken music box and it was quickly replaced. Unfortunately it didn't work for me in the end because she didn't stay on the bass and the owls kept getting stuck so she didn't loop no matter the length. i had her Another downside was that the music stopped so quickly that it actually worked against you, putting the baby to sleep or distracting them.

Pros
  • Remove mobile from bassinet when child begins to push up on hands and knees.
Cons
  • It's hard to remember but it was

Very thin and inexpensive

My son LOVES this phone so overall it's ok but for the price it's very cheap. It does not attach securely to the side of the bassinet or cot. You just tape it to the side and hope it doesn't fall off but it did and it was already falling on my son. It's not hard, so it didn't hurt him. I just can't hold him there while he sleeps in case he falls down again. I just think it's too much money to be that flimsy

Pros
  • Cloth sleeve covers the plastic stand.
Cons
  • This is driving me crazy

Very cute but not worth the money...

My son loves cell phones and sleeps in the Halo Bassinest crib so I thought this would be a great purchase as it was made specifically for his bed. It's very cute, but my son doesn't notice it because it doesn't move on its own, which I didn't take into account when buying it. He hardly notices. Instead I went looking for battery powered cell phones and found many options for a fraction of the price that also attach to the Bassinest. This made me realize how overpriced this phone was. It's just

Very nice but I broke the music box

This is one of two cell phones sold by Halo to fit the Halo BassiNest Rotator. I was happy to pay over $40 for it, but in hindsight I'd say it cost over $25-30. This mobile features cute little owls looking down at an angle so baby can see their faces. He has a hand-operated music box that lasts about 90 seconds and plays a little lullaby. It was easy to put together and the hand crank wasn't a problem for me, plus my kid loved it and watched a lot of owls so I was always happy to restart the…
