The BEST food for your furry babies Non-GMO Man made

My cats are usually fed grain free chicken but one of my kittens seems to have an upset stomach. I opted for the holistic seafood mix for a sensitive stomach. Plus it was cheaper than grain free chicken so that was a bonus. All 4 of my cats, from my 13 year old dog Hera, my approximately 7-9 year old Hermes to my almost 3 year old rescued brothers like food. The pieces are very small, which is great for old cat teeth (or lack thereof), but all cats prefer smaller pieces. I had no problems with…

No more diarrhea! - Cats

Look, my cat is outside and eats everything, so it's not really about the taste. For example, my 8 month old kitten, who has had all sorts of congenital problems - systolic murmur, eyelid agenesis and chronic diarrhea since I adopted him at 6 weeks of age - has had no diarrhea. In those 8 months my vet and I have tried everything: Purina One, 3 different Hill's ID recipes, 2 different probiotic blends, the 3 ingredient instinctive rabbit diet - and a few more that I can't even remember. We've…

Bugs in the food, and Halo doesn't care. Halo is garbage.

I wrote this email to Halo Customer Service: I have been buying Halo dry cat food for years and switched to wet food this month. I mix water with food to see what's in it. Today I found what looked like an insect's belly in her food. It may be harmless, but I'm still disgusted by it - it's definitely not listed in the ingredients! I've attached photos of the bug in the food and also pulled the jar out of the bin just in case it might help. Is this common on Halo? As you know, their food doesn't

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Update Availability

My 15 year old cat has had increasing gastrointestinal problems for a number of years. He developed a poultry allergy 3 years ago which results in severe diarrhea within 30 minutes of eating any type of poultry (eggs don't seem to bother him). Back then, it was difficult to find dry cat food that was only fish (it won't mix wet food, even canned fish). More and more companies are only producing fish food, as poultry allergies in cats have become more common. He started vomiting most of his food

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine
