size very big i bought big and the size of the butt the butt fits all my 3 horses with a good little space so all my horses with fairly big heads stay as usual i would have one Large One of those things, apart from the size issue, it's a good halter

I'm a big fan of Hamilton halters. They go best with my big-cheeked QH. However, I am disappointed with this. After a while, the black halter turned dark purple. He wasn't in the sun and didn't clean anything. This has never happened before.

Hamilton is a good product, strong and very durable and best of all it adjusts around both the neck and mouth for a good fit. I had trouble finding a halter to fit our Shetland stallion and the pony halters are too small but this was perfect due to the many adjustments and the harsh conditions. I highly recommend this company. Other companies have very thin halters that don't stretch and even adjust around the neck, but not Hamilton.

Excellent colour. A bit flimsy, but that makes it much easier to attach. My horse is very old and could not break the halter even if he wanted to. Yes, that's the horse that tore some of the leather halters. But even in her prime, I don't think she could break that halter. I like how it's arranged. I also have an Arab and it fits her head perfectly. I only gave it 4 stars because I doubt it will last as long as thicker halters. Not from tearing, but from fading and the stiffness of the nylon.
