Poor product design

I don't understand how this product got five stars from anyone. It's too weak, the chute while wide is so poorly constructed that a ton of feed can get stuck at the bottom of the feed chute, and the chute itself is so high from the blades that large chunks of feed can't get in it. cut or grind. Oh and the safety device that stops the CPU until the food pusher is in is a pain, I really hate it. which brings me to my final issue with this product; When trying to get food from the safety chute…

Awesome kitchen and dining product

Cuisinart Stand Mixer Cup cracked again and replacement cost about $40. I saw this and thought "why not?" After using it for a few days I can say that it has several advantages over Cuisinart: - Easier to assemble and use - Much easier to assemble the safety mechanism - The blade seats of the spindle so it's easy to remove - no longer has a hole in the middle of the cup like the Cuisinart - Inexpensive - works just as well and is MUCH cheaper - Has a spout at the top for easy pouring, unlike…

Stops working after 8 uses

WHAT I LIKE:• Easy to use• Easy to clean• Affordable WHAT I DON'T LIKE:• The slicing and chopping function is a useless function that requires more work than it does is worth .• It doesn't work with thicker foods like baked sweet potatoes. The blade simply slices through the untouched potato and spins freely. • Stopped working after 9.5 months and 8 uses. • The manufacturer (Hamilton Beach) has not responded to an email I sent about the issue a week ago, hoping it was a 'fixable' issue. I…

Fantastic processor at a ridiculously low price!

I had and used he11 from Cuisenart. I really liked him. But when he died I thought I'd try something new and a little less expensive. Well what a pleasant surprise that this HB processor is even better in my opinion. And here's why: - The base is much lighter and more ergonomic - It's very easy to use with a clear selection of the type of mix you want - I have a large capacity so it holds about 1/3 more than Cuisenart. It is very easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. It's clearly well-made…

DANGEROUS FOOD POISONING SAFETY BACTERIA PROBLEM! Stack and Snap Rivet Blades ALLOW CLEAN FOOD TO GET INTO THE CAVITY AREAS BETWEEN THE TOP AND BOTTOM BLADES! Every time the blade is switched on, chopped or pureed food enters the chambers and CANNOT be cleaned! Food will rot until the next time the blade is used. Spitting bacteria filled everything with rotten puree! I pureed the tomatoes, garlic, veggies, mushrooms and sliced the Italian sausage. I thoroughly rinsed the device with plenty of…

EDIT - Great Food Processor - ONLY 6 MONTHS

Love this food processor! It's good that you don't have to twist everything to block. Looks really strong. I like that everything (even the grille and blade) is stored in the device so I don't have to worry about storing them anywhere. The cord is short, like most kitchen appliances, but there's a compartment where it hides. Suction cup feet keep it in place even on a wet table. LOVE that it came in a plain box without much extra packaging. It was securely packaged but I didn't have to stuff my

Big - Simple - Great for everyday use.

We have been using this food processor for a month and we love it. This processor replaces a 15 year old model and we don't miss the old one at all. Best features, easy to use, just set the bowl like a blender and then snap the lid. No need to align and twist the pieces together. Unlike other models, this one is very easy to use and takes pride of place on the countertop. We made salsa, quick-sliced veggies for roasting, shredded cabbage for coleslaw, shredded and diced wide-necked cheese.…

Ultimately hazardous to health :(

I was afraid to write this review. There are things I really like about this processor. And believe me, I experienced it myself. Not in the last week only I chopped, diced and shaved, I also whipped the butter from the cream, emulsified the egg yolks and butter into the mayonnaise, and made the hard part of the cookie dough take cover off the engine, which "sounds like a wood chipper. Day one could." I imagine compiling this review and said that the bottom blade height is too high so trying to…
