Every morning I use this juicer to make fresh celery juice. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and looks great in my kitchen. Celery juice changed my life and Hamilton Beach is the place to go for kitchen appliances because they always have the best price. I bought a second one for my mom so I can make some fresh celery juice when I visit. :-)

This is not my first juicer. I do the Gerson Therapy and they suggest not using my old juicer so I bought this one instead. Big mistake. The juicer works fine for the first few minutes, then stops. The reverse does not help. To get an 8-ounce glass of juice, you have to take it apart and wash it at least once. That's very wasteful. This is very time consuming. If you're looking for a great juicer, this isn't it.

The idea of chewing slowly and everything is perfect. But the problem is that the auger that is inserted in the chute has lost its function of moving the pulp due to its rotational movement... The machine itself (the motor part) works fine, but the rest of the parts fine. But the pulp and the juice just hit the bottom and the juice never runs down, even though the juice hole is at the bottom. The same goes for the pulp, which never comes out of the pulp hole. Hope for a solution to this issue.

This is a Slow Juicer as stated in the product description. If you're unfamiliar with them, you should probably do some research before you buy. I have mine and I have used it several times to juice carrots and apples. The juicer works best with hard fruits and vegetables. It worked really well with carrots. We bought this a few months ago to try juicing and have been very happy with it. It is easy to assemble and convenient to use. It's just as easy to disassemble and you can throw all the parts in the dishwasher. It was actually quieter than I expected, but you're turning solids into liquids - don't expect it to be quiet. The first day was promising, but things went wrong soon after. It's not a bad machine and probably excellent for things like wheatgrass as others have pointed out. It turns soft foods like grapes, berries, lemons, etc. into a pulp. But it works better with grapes than other citrus fruits.
