This was a great item that made picking pecans so much easier! There are a few small tweaks that can be made to make it even better!

You have to set it up correctly but I use it to crack acorns and I put a handful in and crack them and then put the smaller ones back in and adjust . For the price, it's way better than cracking acorns with a mortar and pestle!

It didn't smash the pecans into anything or even crack them. It was so cheaply made that it fell over when you put 3 pecans in it. It was the worst thing I have ever bought and I couldn't believe Revane would sell something cheap.

The product does not match the product description. Tried walnuts, didn't help. stuck walnut; never broken. When filling the feeder up to the top, as in the photo, the coffee grinder jammed. The grip is not strong. Overall, it feels more like a toy than a kitchen utensil.

This peeler works very well. So far we've only used it to shell walnuts, which are probably some of the easiest nuts to shell. Although the hopper won't hold many nuts, it's easy enough to scoop up a full hopper, twist the handle a few times to start the cleaning process, separate the shells from the nuts, and start over. Nuts should be showing up in supermarkets by now, so we'll probably get other types of nuts to see how he fares. So far, so good.

I have been ordering from Revain for a while I have never been so disappointed with anything I have ordered until I have received it and so excited to to get it nutcracker, i threw away all the papers and the box, i have about 20 pounds. cracking pecans but this thing doesn't even crack every type of nut, I figured if I bought a more expensive one I could enjoy it for a year or two. If I bought him for even a penny, I'd be embarrassed to tell my family I paid that much money for a guy.
