This is by far the best nest I have ever bought for my parrots. It is durable and easy to clean. I wash it weekly with dish soap at dawn and then let it air dry. It attaches well to the cage, but every time we put it back after cleaning, it takes two people.

I have a couple of Diamond Doves who love this nest! Both fit perfectly in the nest and it's deep enough to stack lots of nesting material while keeping the eggs safe. I lined it with a soft cloth to make cleaning easier. A budgerigar or finch will fit nicely in this nest, but the cockatiel may be too big.

My parrot wasn't sure about this nest at first, but once he got used to it after about a week he was hooked! He spends countless hours in his nest, hanging on to it during the day and at night it is his favorite roosting spot. I'm so happy I got this nest for my little feathered friend :)

My bird loves this bird nest but not the fabric that goes with it. MollyPolly would sleep in it all day. Unfortunately, MollyPolly poops in her a lot. I managed to clean it by scraping off the feces. It's hard for me to clean, so I had to put it away. I recommend this nest for your little bird as it is soft and durable. However, it's difficult to clean if you're not up to the task.

Somehow my bird doesn't like the nest. But that's not the main reason for a low score. The material is similar to rope. Tying him to the cage without outside help is not easy. If a bird spoils it with food or droppings I have found it very difficult to completely clean the nest let alone separate it from the cage. The fabric is included, very small as shown in the picture.

I have an aging parrot and lately it has become more difficult to stay on the regular perch that it uses. I saw this soft nest and decided to try it so he has a place to curl up and rest.
