I can't tell you how easy this device is to use. After years of spinning a pepper mill and practically dislocating my wrist every time, this machine is a real treat. Simple, has a bin for storing a large amount of sanding work. Easy to handle and not lightweight, you can see this is a well-made item.

Was slightly smaller than expected and contains less pepper than I expected. A little difficult to fill. It's built like a tank, and I know it will become a family heirloom. That is hard. As if it were harder than it deserved. You won't tip it on the table. The bowl below is good as with a traditional grinder I've always had pepper on the counter and just had to sweep it up.
