👕 Hanes Premium Cotton Pocket T-Shirt for Men in T-Shirts & Tanks: Quality Men's Clothing Review

I can't imagine that those were really Hanes T-shirts, even though they had a Hanes label. When you buy t-shirts, they usually come neatly folded in the box. Both shirts were folded together, just folded in half and then in half again. They weren't rolled up to fit in the bag, just tucked in. They were dusty too. Not to mention that they were terribly thin. They were supposed to be a Christmas present but I was embarrassed to give them.

This stupid rating lets me choose between "too small", "a little too small", "fits exactly", "a little too big", "too big". The problem is that none of these descriptions explain why this shirt has a terrible fit. So the problem with this crappy - clearly alien - shirt is that it's both too thin and too long. This is an absolutely goofy cut unless you're a Banana Republic model. loud, why can't anyone else make a decent plain old cotton t-shirt with a pocket?!?!?! When did it get so difficult?!

VERY soft shirt, but runs a little small. They appear to be a little longer than a regular t-shirt, which is nice. My biggest gripe is the SUPER TINY POCKET!® (which is obviously a trademark because no sane person would put a pocket that small on any shirt, except maybe the one worn by a circus monkey. 2x ordered. Washed in cold water. Tumble dry low. At best, it shrinks to a large size. The bag is half the size it should be. I carry my readers in my shirt pocket. These pockets are short enough to allow the glasses to fit up your nose and fall out if you lean forward a little. I would like to send them back but they have already been washed, never worn, only tried on but washed. I give them to my neighbor in size L. These are great shirts except the pocket is a bit small but fits a pack of cigarettes. They fit well, which I like, and fit snugly around my arms, which I like, but once I've washed them I'll have to donate them to the cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This was the standard pocket t-shirt from youth to old age, 125lbs and wearing S to 225lbs and ordering this XXL. When you're past a certain age and have been using a brand for decades, companies cut back a bit to save money. It looks the same as ever, except the fabric is a little thinner than it was 40 years ago. It's nicely made, lasts a long time but runs small compared to other XXL t-shirts I've bought.

Updating my review: At first I thought they were pretty good shirts aside from the tiny pocket and itchy tags. At first they were very soft and comfortable. Now that I've worn and washed them for a few months I almost hate them. They shrink more than a normal Hanes t-shirt, they attract lint. At first they felt very comfortable, but now they feel like they're clinging to you or something. Just like my FRC clothes I had to wear when I worked at the refinery, I can't wait to take my clothes off…

Shirts from this brand used to have a high value. They are now thin, shrinking slightly and curling up a bit after the first wash. The pockets are small and pretty useless. They're fine for work shirts, which my husband likes to break anyway, but they turn into dust rags too quickly and don't live up to the standards you'd expect from Hanes in any way. WARNING: When you buy them, take one size larger than you usually get.
