Hanperal Push Button Latch 93-303 Series - Secure Your Boat/Motorcycle Glovebox Review

Latch works as intended. No modifications were required to the glove box on my golf cart. Good choice and looks high quality.

Bought to replace another brand which I had to return due to SNS (Slip Nut Syndrome). This lock has arrived complete, easy to install and secure without SNS.

Jeep mount glove box lock required. It requires very little work (just enlarging the hole and shortening the latch, it worked like a dream. I saved about $30 compared to replacing it.

Ignition lock is of good quality but very firm in the off/on position. This is the main reason for deducting two stars. I probably wouldn't buy it again if I had to. I would look for something smoother in the key switch.

Bought to replace my sidecar trunk latch because the previous owner lost the key, wanted to replace the latch and found that the new key fits the old latch. Saved me the time and hassle of having to replace a latch that looks exactly like the original OER stroller latch.

I got this to replace my glove box on my boat and the finger grip part didn't fit my hole compartment so I had to grind and shave some of it off to make it fit. If you have a recessed hole for your box, it will not fit without modification. The rest of the mechanics are solid and appear to be made out of good plastic.

I have updated my review and downgraded it to 3 stars because the plastic nut is not strong enough to tighten. The nut breaks and the lock comes loose. A note: if you buy one or 10 of these keys, they all use the same key. The good thing is that if you need more than one of these for your boat, you can only use one key for all of them. I guess the bad news is that if the thief knows they're all using the same key, they can access all of your compartments with just one key they bought.
