This is the perfect egg holder for stuffed eggs. It will hold plenty of eggs and leave space between layers so the tops don't get crushed. I like that it has 3 layers too. I ended up putting the eggs in the first two layers and ice in the third layer to keep them cold. They survived the car ride and caused a stir at the party. Also, the layers stayed snapped together. I definitely recommend this product.

Received my order today and am very happy with the three tier egg cup. I have 14 Barred Rock hens that lay small to medium sized eggs. My eggs fit the space nicely to save on overhead. I bought this holder to store my unwashed fresh eggs on the counter. It can also be used to store washed eggs in the refrigerator. I came across this while looking for a roomy filled egg cup, am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone looking for a whole or half egg cup. It's made of plastic, similar to the clear one found in many storage containers. The clasps snap securely and the handles feel solid and there's no risk of the lid coming off. I love that you can use one to three trays. I've made stuffed eggs out of large eggs and the trays had plenty of vertical spacing so there was no risk of crushing the stuffing.

I noticed that my eggs were starting to mold due to lack of airflow, so I drilled holes around each container to allow air to circulate because eggshells are porous and they breathe. This egg cup is excellent. Perfect for travel with stuffed eggs. It's durable, the three parts fit very well and stay in place. Before lifting the entire unit, make sure the cover is securely fastened.
