Great LEDs at an incredible price! I bought these for my RC crawler trucks. At local craft stores, just 2 LED bulbs are $8! What the hell!?! They are very bright and the only thing I would have wished for is that the wires were a bit longer! 2 cm more would make a difference! Will definitely buy again and highly recommend

These LEDs are bright enough when powered from 12 to 9 VDC. The current limiting resistor is small, 1/8W. Open 12VDC at 100mA. it will be very warm to the touch. I don't know the value of the resistor connected, I haven't taken it apart to read or measure it. I used them to replace the "wheat grain" bulbs in my radio. I had to add an extra 1kΩ 1/2 watt resistor to the lamp. Works great after this supplement.

I ordered them as turn signals on a 12 volt circuit to run 24/7 but the problem with them is the built in limiting resistor is too small for the current to flow through the LED could pull . The resistor appears to be 1/8 watt (based on physical dimensions) and when I applied 12 volts the resistor got hot enough to touch almost immediately and the heat shrink started smoking in less than a minute. I haven't disassembled or measured any, so I don't know the value of the resistor or the actual…
