DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SUPPLIER! I bought this fan in the summer of 2017 and had it professionally installed by a state-certified and insured electrician. when i wanted to use it this spring it doesn't work. To be honest I bought it for the looks and it was built by a reputable company. It is lightweight and very easy to install. The built in LED gives off a very warm glow (maybe 3000K) and is bright enough to accentuate existing incandescent bulbs, but I wouldn't rely on it as the only light source in a room.
