I bought this fan because my brother had it and I liked the turbine look of the blades. The motor and housing of this fan weigh about 35 pounds. The top cover of the ceiling made of thick polished metal. I can say that the heavy motor and case help the entire fan not wobble even at full speed. I would give 5 stars but the 6 inch rod is not long enough. You also need to choose the next size up 12" or larger. The 6" pole should be close to the ceiling and the 8 fan blades form an air pocket above it. So the airflow is very weak when it goes down. Now I put in a 12" rod and Holly Cow whats the difference in the down air flow. I dont understand why Harbor Breeze boxed such a short rod. For its purpose of moving air, this is the best ceiling fan I have ever had. Our daughter installed the same fan in her living room. with the bottom stem and I was very impressed with the amount of air and how it spreads out from the fan area.
