Came in prime time 2 days. Installed right where the dead receiver controller was on the Harbor Breeze fan. Looked like a copy. Set the dip switches, put everything back together and voila. Back in business. And now we have two work consoles. Just make sure all DIP switches match. Couldn't be happier. Saved us from buying a brand new fan kit. Highly recommended. (I'll look at the old receiver, I suspect the e-cap is blown. If I fix it I'll let you know. Don't throw away the old one yet.) Update

Great little receiver, metal body, big remote so it looks better than the original. The cables are color coded the same as my old one and the instructions were clear making it an easy task. Installation was pretty easy. My Harbor Breeze receiver had a wiring harness so I stripped it and then cut the brown antenna wire to get it out of the fan housing. After almost two months of use I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. In my previous review and in many other reviews, you may have noticed that the fan control seems poor and the fan speed is low no matter what level it should be. Now I take care of the problem. The fan control problem is NOT due to a bad motor control system, it is due to you turning it low with a switch! Many fans have a hanger that allows you to manually switch the fan speed.
