Impossible to install

The instructions are quite poor and difficult to follow. The screw orientation makes it impossible to install the handle bar due to the handle blocking the trajectory. The design is poor, you cant install with out significant difficulty. Most other door handles have the screws oriented out of plane of the handle bar to make installation easy. Maybe there is something I am not getting, but not keeping this.

Disappointed good for me

The lock works great but the batteries don’t last but a week or so. I have another model from the same company and the batteries last over a year.

Well designed and nice touch to it.

I Like the feel of this unit when placing a hand on it. Very nice touch and rounded ergonomically. unit has a very small print patch area and makes the unit not recognize prints until second or third try sometimes but, this could also be from the initial placement of your own print to be recognized. Nice complement to any door that requires a lock.

Batteries would run down extremely quick

Fingerprint reader would works most of the time sometimes it would Forget the children’s fingerprints very very hard on batteries They would only last 3or 4 days

Uninstallable - my new review

Total trash, this cannot be installed. The instructions say to remove the screws that were sealed to be made unremovable and to install the long screws through holes that were never drilled.

Great product not only does it insure that no one else can get inside your desired room it’s slick design doesn’t make it stand out as if it was any different from a regular door handle.

Great lock - needs option to keep unlocked

These are fantastic and the finger pad usually take a few tries but it is solid. I wish it offered an option to keep it unlocked as I have installed it on the Door from the garage to home.love it tho

Good product for avoiding mischief

We bought this to put on our pantry door to keep the babies out of mischief. It was easy to install and being able to add all the adults to the fingerprint reader made it even better.

Works great! good for me

This lock works really well. The handle seams Huge but it’s a great look. And the finger print scanner works perfectly.! It was easy to install and set up, and we've had no issues with it at all. Love it.

Works great, easy to program

Took about 15 minutes to install. Would have been faster, except I had to mortise the door frame to accommodate the strike plate. You may not even have to do that. Simple programming had it working for my wife and I in about 5 minutes.This is far better than Bluetooth or WiFi door locks that require you to take out your phone, open an app, and unlock the door. With this, you just put your thumb on the sensor, and the door unlocks. Totally seamless.

Not worth a penny. in my review

I bought this item but returned it. It did not work as described. The item was electronically & mechanically defective. The seller was contacted but no reply was received. Bad Customer Service. So, instead of seeking a replacement, I returned it & bought a different brand. So much inconvenience caused.

Works well but burns though batteries.

Love the way it works but it burns through batteries. There isn’t any warning when the batteries need to be replaced. Fingerprint recognition may not be reliable for individuals with certain medical conditions or disabilities.

Solid Tech Door Handle (Priced just right)

If you have ever installed a door handle then this is a no brainer. 5 minutes at most and you’re up and running.My only suggestion would be to have the screws and striker plate match the finish of the door handle. This was a basement install so ultimately it didn’t matter.
