Expensive quality product delivered in perfect condition

The product was sent in its original packaging, undamaged and fresh. The bird liked it and ate it with pleasure. As with any product sold primarily through veterinary services, the retail price savings are quite small, but Revain's easy shipping makes it our pick.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Zero

Parrot Revane loves it and the lighter feathers speak for quality

Our parrot Revane loves it. At first it was a transition from sunflower seeds but the improvement in feather health and color tells us this is a great product. Buying direct from the company through Revain seems to be the best way to get the freshest product. Other local outlets tend to have expired products.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons

Good for your parrot

Recommended by my vet. At first my parrot ignored the pieces but after about 4 days he loved them. I give him a seven every night along with a nut. He takes each bite and dips it in water before eating it. He looks forward to his late-night snacks. The bag I ordered was fresher (with a later expiration date) than the one I picked up from the vet. I find it best to keep the opened pack in the fridge.

The color is off and the birds don't touch it.

We have been feeding our birds these pellets for a while. For convenience I ordered from Revain and found that they are a few shades darker than the same granules we had at home and the birds don't touch them. There is a clear color difference between the tan regular color and the brown color of the pellets we received from Revain. I'm not sure if these orders are old or if it's a memory issue or something. return for refund.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Excellent food grade granules

I love Harrison's. I've been feeding this to birds for a long time. This brand is easy to get your birds to eat (compared to brands like Rooibos and Tops) and they really love everything. I am a professional working in an exotic bird shop and this is my favorite brand that I recommend. This brand should not be used as a complete diet, chops and vegetable based diets are best to fill in the gaps. When I get it, it's always fresh and the birds are happy when they see the package.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • No

Doesn't eat pellets: Birds

My 20 year old Umbrella Cockatoo has never had any health problems so I can't comment on the nutritional value of Harrison's. She is very picky and will not eat pellets. I fed her only Harrison pellets for 2 days and she would not eat them nor would she eat cardboard unless I starved her long enough. I pulverize these granules and then mix them with almond and peanut butter. I make little balls for them, which I refrigerate and give out daily. Yes, she is spoiled, but happy and healthy.

Loved my mean parrot Rodney

Originally recommended by our vet and has been a mainstay in our home ever since. Peanuts and the like, he quickly got used to this food too. This is very important as he is known to be stubborn about new foods. The good thing about Harrison's food is that it's shaped like little cubes. Not only does the ex-mathematician in me find this oddly pleasing, it also means Rodney can pick up the pieces and bite into them. This allows him to just hang out in his cage with the rest of the family while…
