A mediocre version of an old favourite. I do not recommend buying it

I bought it for my 3 and 5 year old boys to play with. They like to play for a few minutes and then get pretty tired of it. The plastic bubble wrap is nice to keep the balls from flying all over the place. However, it looks cheaply made and some balls get stuck in places that take them out of play. Overall I wouldn't recommend it because it's not that much fun.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Some bugs

Sweet; Balls can get stuck

Sweet travel size game. It's a good thing the balls are hidden - they don't get lost and there's no choking hazard - but sometimes they get stuck at certain points in the game. Playing with stuck balls can be frustrating. Of course it doesn't work quite like the regular version, but it still keeps my two boys entertained a bit. It hasn't broken yet either and my 4 and 6 year olds aren't exactly tender. :)

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Great game for a long flight

I bought it for my daughter before going to Peru. The full length game is her absolute favorite so I thought it might be worth a try. With all 3 plans lasting more than 2 hours each, we played this game at least 4 times. It wasn't very noisy and didn't distract or disturb other passengers, which I liked even more. The only problem was that the yellow monster's handle got stuck several times. Otherwise we liked it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

Little game. well suited for games and accessories

I couldn't decide between migratory or normal game. We chose the trip because my son wanted the one with the lid so he wouldn't lose the marbles. It's a lot smaller than I expected, I thought it would be smaller than a regular sized game, but it's the same price and a lot smaller. I was a little disappointed. But my 3 year old loves it and takes it everywhere. In the car, he even sits in the shopping cart in the store and plays with it, which makes shopping a lot easier!

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

Great for younger kids who want to play the game without the mess!

Bought this for my daughter when she saw a commercial for the game on TV. I didn't want to give her one as the little balls would be lost in a day or two. I stumbled across this product and was pleased to see that the little balls are encased in a plastic sleeve. It's great fun with no mess or missing parts. It's smaller than I expected but it's a travel game and perfect for little hands. Build quality is good, fairly hard plastic, has been dropped, thrown, stepped on and is still holding up…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Cheaply made but fun; safe around kids!

As some reviewers say, it's cheap and the parts you press feel fancy, so I don't know how long it will last. On the other hand my 3 year old loves it. He is very fond of balloons and would look longingly at the full hippos in the shops, but now that a lively kid has appeared in the house I have told him that we are a long way from having balloons. I found this, and since the plastic dome keeps everything inside, we gave it a try. He's young enough not to bother playing the game properly (which…

They're still fun after all these years (and now they're wearable)!

I was a fan of this game as a kid. So I bought it out of pure nostalgia. kids LOVE it! It's a great travel size, and being self-contained there are no lost parts in the car. Just like in the full-size game, you throw "balls" with your thumb and then use your hippo's "tail" to get the hippo to shoot the balls and eat them. The hippo that eats the most wins! Movements in both parts of the game (marble shooter and behemoth head) move effortlessly and are easy to execute even with small hands (but…
