Great for outdoor buildings such as storage shed doors, barn, playhouse, Backyard and Chicken Coop door etc . ☛【 ADJUST THE SIZE 】: 4-1/2" stem will fit doors up to 4-1/2" thick. To adjust your bracket to the thickness of your door, there is a set screw that must be removed with the included Allen wrench. Heavy duty barn door handle

Fairly easy to install - just remember to drill a hole for the mechanism on the handle. Great for my shed and I was able to have extra keys made at a local major department store.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Zero

Does what it's supposed to do

Installation was easy and the handle worked as it should. I had to use this handle in a non-traditional installation, with a door that opens inwards. I had to make a panel inside to make it work, but the adjustability of the device made it work well. Ideal for outbuildings.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Old fashioned

Suitable for large doors.

Luckily I can find out. The instructions were weak at best. I'm not entirely sure how to lock it (the lock works with a key), but why. I ended up drilling two holes in the inside handle and attaching a piece of metal to it and fabricating the side of the door opening out of metal to accommodate my fastener.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

Needs better screws

Does the job I have a shed that has never had a working latch since I bought the house. Not a problem until I started storing some expensive stuff in it. Bought it to secure the barn. The barn is old and the original handle has been there since construction. I had to install slightly larger screws to hold the outer handle in place. I would still use better screws.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE
Cons
  • Very expensive

Easy to install and adjust

Easy to install and adjust depth according to door thickness. I installed on a shed using a 2x4 frame plus T1-11 corrugated board (door about 2 inches thick). In general the quality is good. However, I think that if someone really wanted it, they could get around it without too much trouble, but honest people should stay honest. If you are looking for more security, I would look at something else.

  • INCLUDES
Cons
  • Something else

No fitting instructions

The ad says and the photo shows three keys but I only received two and only one works; The installation instructions say to drill a 3/8" hole, but 7/16" works much better. The instructions do not state that the installation requires a 3/4" x 1/8" countersink to allow the handle to sit flush. I discovered this after I'd already drilled the hole, making it much harder to drill the countersink; For some inexplicable reason, the handle opens by turning it up or down, rather than just 90 degrees…

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION
Cons
  • Minor things
