Description of 🧼 Haviland - 01418SE 3/16 Inch EPDM Rubber Non-Marking Standard Duty Serrated Applicator Squeegee, 18" Length, Gray

The applicator squeegee is an efficient method to apply epoxy sealers and urethanes as it spreads pigment and grit uniformly. Pliancy of rubber blade allows flexibility of material thickness through pressure and angle applied. The EPDM is a stiffer blade which allows for the serration to stand up. 18" Length. 3/16" Serration depth and height.

Ideal for applying epoxy to floors.

Exactly what I needed. Only problem, the head had to be threaded so it could be screwed onto the handle.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • So-so

This is the only way rock can be spread.

This is the only way Rock Solid metallic floors can be sold. It worked perfectly. Cleated shoes are required.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Needs to be screwed onto a stick

When I went out and got the screw on stick everything worked fine. Used to apply epoxy to the floor. The serrated side is for leveling and the solid side is good for moving material.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Very well made, best suited for mops

The product is very well made and has a solid structure. However, I got it to smudge the epoxy and it doesn't spread very well. It's tricky, and if you try to push it down to get good epoxy movement, you just end up with epoxy lines instead of a nice, unique spread of colors and effects. Luckily I had a real window cleaner and just used that instead.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Approximately

How buta! in Cleaning Tools

This bad boy makes a HUGE difference when working with epoxy floors! This will help get an even coat, and the epoxy will quickly cover up the places where the "teeth" left marks. I noticed a definite difference using my old straight squeegee compared to this one, especially around the edges and corners. No more mess or jagged lines. I was even able to save on the amount of epoxy I used, a nice bonus when prices are this high. An absolute must for epoxy floors!

Pros
  • The Squeegee Applicator is an effective way of applying epoxy sealers and urethanes as it evenly distributes pigment and sand
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Not for homemade epoxies in squeegees

Totally unsuitable for my use case but it's well made and will most likely be a good buy for the right scenario. I bought this to quickly spread epoxy for floor work. For about 3.5 gallons/500 square feet, the teeth were too deep to move anything. For the second coat I switched to a flat squeegee and it worked much better. If you have a much larger/thicker product this would probably be a good idea, but for a small garage at home, epoxy work definitely wasn't the way to go.

Pros
  • EPDM is a stiffer blade allowing the serrated blade to stand up
Cons
  • No automatic

Mediocre, not great - wiper

The purpose of this wiper is to apply floor epoxy. For the work I've done I thought it was a great tool with one downside. ... This autumn is a vulture. As you can see you need to use a tapered wooden handle. If any of you tried to find a tapered wooden handle in mid-2021, you know how difficult or expensive they are. With that, I simply put a screw handle down the neck of this tool and screwed a screw through. I would recommend this tool for what it is and what you are getting and if you are…

Pros
  • 3/16 inch tooth depth and height
Cons
  • Obsolete
