The carrying case is highly recommended and protects great!

This case is a must for anyone who buys an FT1PXC fish finder. weak and useless. A little more cable space would have prompted me to give it 5 stars.

Does not fit sonar and sonar

The sonar does not fit in the case. There are mesh and rubber bands that are not suitable for attaching electronics. The case isn't even big enough to fit in the fish finder. You have to force and deform it just to close the zipper. This is not a custom sonar case. It's a discontinued camera or MP3 player that these guys wanted to sell anyway.

Happy Boaters - Sonars and Sonars

Bought as a gift for parents. They spend 6 to 7 months on board and bought a new boat this season so I got that for their new boat. Dad was very impressed with the screen and the convenient controls. (He needs regular help with his smartphone.) He said it took him less than 45 minutes to set it up. They use it to cast crab and shrimp traps and tell me it shows them the groundscape very well. Mom and Dad don't like fishing with rod and reel so I'm sorry but I can't give an average fishingโ€ฆ

I ordered these because I wanted waterproof but was disappointed. This hard case is not big enough for .

I bought a soft case for a Hawkeye sonar without seeing this waterproof one. The soft pouch is large enough for all accessories and has dedicated cutouts for each item. I ordered these because I wanted waterproof but was disappointed. Not big enough to hold anything other than the fish finder itself, this hard shell case is regular foam with no cutouts. Nice little case but useless for transporting the Hawkeye sonar and accessories. Expensive given the small size. Take a soft case.
