Great if they show up at

I really wanted to like these gloves but they are too heavy to put on. The Velcro straps, which were open inwards, meant that my bandages kept getting stuck and I couldn't otherwise grab them. It was tight enough inside that she pulled on my bandages as well. Once you put them on they are great - more than enough wrist support and great padding.

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Big and chunky

don't move and wrist support has been very good so far

Gloves fit well, don't move and wrist support has been very good so far. c when trying to put on gloves (with bandages). I use them for exercise/heavy bagwork so a little stiffness/hardness isn't an issue. I'll probably wait until they break more to spar.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Almost never

Double velcro Design flaw

Second velcro sticks to your bandages like crazy! My hands are a bit bigger so it fits snugly, but it's almost impossible to put it on unaided. This is especially frustrating in the gym when you have to quickly switch from gloves to pads to work with a partner. The build quality is very good and everything else is in line with what others have done with these gloves. However, the strap design is disappointing as I had high hopes for it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Empty

Very happy with the glove rest

I bought the 14 oz Hayabusa, when I first got them they were very stiff and chafing my wrist due to the stiffness. I read other reviews and they said the same thing. I kept wearing them because I was sure they would loosen up. I've had them for a month now and of course they are much more comfortable. I like them for the double strap and the wrist and thumb support. I am a hairstylist and with the constant movement of my wrist and thumb I am very aware of the effects of carpal tunnel. I'm very…

Too bad I couldn't save her. Snug fitting

Great gloves but too small! As mentioned by many other reviews, these things are really tight and I could barely get my hand in (16 oz). I'm on the smaller side and probably medium height wearing gloves but they were very comfortable. Bandages definitely cannot be used with these gloves and even without them it probably took me about 2 minutes of constant wiggling to put them on. Not ideal for my boxing practice where I often put on and take off gloves. Instead, I picked up a pair of Fairtex…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Very nice quality gloves.

These gloves are very tough upon arrival. They need some time to tap heavy sacks to make them soft. Otherwise, they will spar hard on your opponent and just try to hit him. The double closure is ideal for wrist support. However, as others have pointed out, the space inside is a bit cramped to begin with. When you put your hands in the gloves, the Velcro of the inner double strap sticks to the hand wraps, making it difficult for you to put your hands in the gloves without getting caught. When I…

Excellent glove with grip and support for a much more expensive glove

Excellent gloves. They provide so much wrist support that unbandaged gloves are better than most bandaged gloves. Perfect hand/thumb position AND allows you to really hit. Excellent padding and hand support. I read many complaints that it is impossible to get through to them. I didn't have that experience at all. A much more advanced harness system makes dressing different, but I wouldn't say it's much more difficult. My advice before putting on gloves is to undo the inner velcro just before…

Pros
  • All great!
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Velcro closures can be a bit annoying.

Shipping was fast and the package arrived earlier than expected. I have practiced western boxing and muay thai for many years. The gloves are quite hard upon arrival. I think after a few hard sessions they will be fine. I bought a 14 ounce glove. They fit a little but I have room for my toes. Velcro straps can be a bit confusing and adjustable. Double velcro provides additional support. I can definitely tell the difference when throwing power punches. My wrist feels more stable compared to…
