Best kept cool in spares

Replaced my stock fan clutch (it was new) with this heavy duty fan clutch and now it no longer overheats in slow motion even with the A/C on! It moves noticeably more air than the standard. Should have tried that earlier. Had to dig through Hayden catalogs online to find what would fit. Now I'm happy and calm.

A must see in Tucson, Arizona! We have a 1996 34ft 454 that had temperature issues in the summer, we got it yesterday, I started it and got it running in 20 minutes and we took it to Benson Az and it's been great even on that long climb is working. to Tucson. You can watch the drop in temperature going up the class! Thanks Revane from Arizona!

Works perfectly! 454 BBC stays at 160!

Used in conjunction with brass thermostat, factory replaced quad heatsink, fan shroud and bypass. It helps keep my 454 at 160 in the summer and in mild throttle traffic. Make sure you order from Revain. I tried True Blue Parts and got a stock fan clutch instead. The heavy-duty version is on the right side and is much harder to turn.

Good grip, good for engine cooling and air conditioning

This thing scared me until I realized it was cyclic. Yes, it will allow your car to hit 220 and then roar. It's stuck in traffic. On the open highway my special car 175 stops. I only give 4 stars because it doesn't work in traffic (which always happens when my own temperature rises). You have to move for it to work and unfortunately that's no use to me with my thermal factory 462. If you don't have a Pontiac motor I'm sure it will work just fine.

LOOKS DIFFERENT Best on fans and parts

Fitted perfectly on my 94 Fleetwood Coronado with a Chevy Big Block 454 on a p30 chassis, good thing the mechanic said. The new part was smaller and weighed less, but the biggest surprise was as I pulled onto the interstate, the FAN ROAR was insane. My coolant temp would always be around 230,240 in traffic and too close to the RED SIDE. NOW IN ONE MONTH it has never gone above half, my thermostat is high flow 180 degrees from napa, yes I recommend a fan clutch.

Trust me, I learned it the hard way. I installed an Edelbrock aluminum water pump on my 69 C20 and they don't pass it on, day/night difference. After searching online for my overheating issues in our 34ft 454 motor home, I decided to replace the fan clutch. I was able to find it on Revain. Our RV has always been hot since we bought it used, and we also tow a 24-foot enclosed trailer with sand rail, RZR, 4-wheel et cetera, which in itself is a problem. Difficult conditions! for clutches

This keeps my 81 El Camino decently cool with a 350 swap. This is a great fan clutch when you want to make sure your classic car or truck doesn't go over 220 degrees. My El Camino would have overheated to at least 225F in traffic but now it doesn't go above 210 degrees. I'll be working harder on the truck to keep it even cooler, but this clutch locks it up almost 1 to 1 when it gets hot, lowering the temp drastically. It does have some fan whine when it's on, but it's worth it when engine temps
