Easy install works as intended although I wouldn't recommend it for long term use, it's not "heavy" and gets hot with use, I have it to tow a 20ft -2 axle trailer used 500km driven and smelled like the controller was heating up. I think it's good for lighter use and for the average home user.

I damaged my first block, it fell and dragged on the ground. Bought this to be an exact replacement. It's exactly the same, fits and works the same. The first one was 5 years old, so this one should last at least that long. Customization is easy and great. It's progressive, meaning the longer you hold the brake, the more power is delivered to the brakes, increasing stopping power at the trailer. I'm a lucky tourist.

I bought this to replace the brake controller on my 2000 Tundra SR5. That works great. I used to have the same controller but after 8 years of use the grip broke. The 2000 Tundra doesn't have a wire harness, so I had to cut the wire harness and splice the wires individually, matching the wire colors to the wires I had previously installed. I am happy with my purchase. It works perfectly and is reliable. I recommend this product.
