The heat works great, but the included heat shrink tubing is the wrong size.

The heat gun did exactly what I expected it to do. It held the tube securely, I liked the built in wire stand, when it came time to put it aside I wasn't worried if it burned or melted anything. It would be an A if I had only bought it. for a heat gun. But it also included heat shrink tubing, which I also wanted. I think it was 2-1. My problem was with the tube. The black and green tubes were different sizes so I had to sort through the black tubes to find the ones that matched my wires and the

Inexpensive variant for professional electrical work

I used this to shrink the wiring on my truck when I added the extra cigarette lighter. The kit includes heat shrink tubing of various sizes. To heat shrink many connectors, the plastic protector attached to the terminal must be removed prior to shrinking to ensure the fit is as tight as possible. Attractive price, multiple colors and sizes are very useful

This works much better than I thought. I resoldered the car radio and soldered a lot of wires. The heat shrink tubing made the most sense, so I ordered this kit. The heat gun works great with the system and was much better than the hair dryer as the heat was more concentrated/directed and the different sizes and colors allowed me to organize and coordinate speaker wire, power, ground etc. I also appreciated this case's coverage and ease of use.
