I broke my wooden handled hammer and replaced it with a 16oz solid steel Heikio Hammer. This hammer is reliable to me, it's a one time replacement and well worth the price. I like this hammer very much. Thanks to Heikio, you made a great hammer! I haven't found a better hammer.
This is a good hammer with a reasonable weight. If you've been hammering nails (or anything else), be smart and careful and get a real nail driving tool (aka a hammer) before you have an accident. By the way, there is no photo, because it is simply a hammer.
The very first time I used a hammer it came out of the rubber grip. Slipped back very easily but it's also very loose. I'll use one of the epoxy glues on it when I get back to that. Very dangerous as it can easily fly out of the rubber handle and hit someone or something and cause a lot of damage. As a professional I cannot recommend this hammer as the handle is not attached to the hammer handle. Spend more and get a famous brand. I should have stayed with Irwin.
So my brother in law is Mexican. great boy Little did I know when I asked my sister what I should get him for Christmas that she had exactly what she needed. Apparently a skilled man took his good hammer. "Seriously. He sent about 30 minutes and complained that he thought their last phone had taken his good hammer. You can tell a good hammer because it's made out of one piece of metal. blah blah blah 😂" Not only that but it was a good hammer when I had a video call with him on Christmas day he
I have some basic personal use tools for home repairs and a good hammer is one of them. I'm so happy with it. I particularly like the one-piece construction, which eliminates the risk of head-flying. It is heavier than my previous hammer and therefore requires less strength and time. It is definitely very good value for money. I would definitely buy him again if he decided to run away to be with my previous one. And I definitely recommend it as a good solid hammer.
This 16 ounce Heikio hammer seems great to me other than the fact that it is quite heavy - around 32, 5 ounces. If you're a wrestler, well, you might not care, it's a good workout if you're training for the decathlon. But the reason I bought this is because I wanted a light and efficient all-purpose hammer. It turns out to be significantly heavier than all my other hammers, about 5, even my 24 oz hammer I bought from Harbor Freight (which has a hardwood handle)! Well I have to say the pen is…
One-piece forged hammer. which I insisted on as the head of the hammer broke free of the cheap thing I was using and whistled past my ear. The rest is a hoot. It works. He hammers nails. A+. COMPARE to the cheap hammers most DIYers have (which usually have an oval or round hollow tubular neck with a hammer head attached). It's a little heavier, it takes a little getting used to; but i like being overweight. The balance is good, the handle feels good in the hand. The only critical thing I can…
