So I had it on the back seat of my bike. It would not fully extend if there was no load. But if left in the sun, it will eventually weaken, crack and fail. I was surprised but it literally fell apart in my hands after trying to move it. Yes the bike was stored in a garage but it might have been exposed to the sun if we rode the bike or parked it outside. Not even 6 months have passed.

Only 6 hooks included so everything looks wobbly when you put it on and my bike is almost exemplary 1983 I get compliments every time I take it out, don't lie. So I don't use it because it looks like shit, all wrong. And I don't like the way it was put together either, definitely handmade but then again it would be difficult to use a machine to make them. But if you look at the picture they really do look like I should have paid more attention.

I've used this to cover a tarp on a 5.5' x 10' trailer for over 1200 miles. Here's what I found: The base mesh size is very close to the description of 6'x10', so there was very little stretch in my application before I started moving vertically down the center of the covered items.
