Well, they won't stick if you throw your knitting needles willy-nilly in your bag. Spirit. I haven't tried the rubber band method for comparison. It's ok, but if I wanted to, I wouldn't buy it if everything was ok. They smell, but that seems to be expected given the material. Anyway, if they're not working as needle stoppers, maybe they'll make earplugs as a last resort. And it might be worth reusing the case after I've lost them all in other bags somewhere.

I really like the different sizes of needle covers in this set and the divided storage box, the covers themselves leave a lot to be desired. I'm not sure if the needle covers I received were very old or of poor quality, but they were too stiff and seemingly slippery to work properly. I was hoping for a softer silicone with better grip. I won't get too upset if the cat runs away with one of these, since that gives me the opportunity to buy the others.

I gave this product 4 stars in part because I'm so glad I have plugs back. My old ones are probably hiding out of the laundry along with all the missing socks. Jokes aside, these are good stubs. When I opened the package, I smelled a terrible chemical smell, typical of products from China. It also stays on your fingers. I'll put everything in the sun to see if that can help. The tips themselves are very stiff, give little and are quite short. I have previously bought another brand and was much happier as they were softer and longer.
