Too heavy for my dog. I also thought that unlike any other coat, this coat has built in legs, but it's just a black border on the cuffs. Feels like a windbreaker too. Hard to believe it's getting warm.

Well made, but without polar fleece lining. It's literally a shell with no heat. I bought it for protection and warmth. but I probably won't send it back. Not warm at all.

My dog measurements for Large were exactly the same as listed, just right for my 40 lb dog. The only problem is that it's tight around his neck, so I have to leave it open a bit. Also, the hood is too small for his head, so it becomes more of a fashion accessory than a useful accessory. I ordered a size up to compare the size and see if XL is too big. I will update when the new size is received! Can't say how it holds up in winter (water and snow) either, but we'll see in November!

I love this coat. This is a very well made windbreaker. No fleece lining as advertised. Leg length to the knee. The coat is very small. My dog, a Border Collie, usually has a medium to large coat. I ordered a large but the zipper had a 5 inch gap to close the coat. In other words, the body needed an additional 5 inches around the chest and neck to close. Due to the size I need XXL which is out of stock. A large coat suits a terrier.

Overall I like the coat, I'm just not a fan of mesh lining. I bought this coat to keep my older dog warm this winter. I don't know how warm. I think it would be better lined with fleece than mesh but there is room for sweaters underneath. Also, my dog's claws (especially the dew claws) often get caught in the stitches when putting on the coat. A big plus is that it works great as a rain cover and keeps my dog completely dry. This is a nice thick coat and quite reflective.
