I am a sailing coach and bought these as an alternative to flip flops on a boat. They are of good quality and have lasted 2 seasons so far. Grip on the fiberglass skiffs is decent and feet don't get hot in warm weather. Drain well and stay tied. The only thing I complain about is that they are a bit pointed at the widest part of the foot and are in no way inferior to mesh or leather. I have a wide foot so it won't be a problem for others.

Very happy with my choice. I also have the previous model and the new ones seem a bit more durable as well as being light and comfortable. Highly recommended

These shoes are of very poor quality. For $100 and from a company like HH, I expected top notch quality. I don't know if they are fakes or something like that. The side panels were sewn poorly, so they wobbled when putting the boot on and taking it off. The glue used for the upper looks like it hasn't cured or maybe it's not the right glue for the material as it's still tacky and tears off easily. Helly Hansen is a classic sailing and outdoor brand. Excellent for sailing, these shoes are secure on deck with no skid marks. I have used mine in my sailing course and would recommend them to both novice and experienced sailors.

I usually wear a women's size 8.5; Men's 7 fits well on my fidgety feet. The shoes match my Sole insoles, the soles are good and have a good grip on our deck and the shoes are well made. I'm happy with them.
