I bought an aftermarket solenoid first, bad idea, gave a failure in the mid pressure range, was replaced with this one and so far works fine

Only driven 1000 miles so far but this seems to have solved my shuttle shift problems. Took a 6500 lb RV through the mountains in North Ga and it's been great so far.

This item is perfect for my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Helped solve a shifting problem I've had for a while. Great price too. Arrived super fast. Good product.

Order a Dorman or Mopar sensor instead. The inverter has failed after the reset time. Solenoid is much smaller than factory but still appears to work properly. However the customer service is top notch, they sent another set when I told them what happened.

So 2 years ago I ordered a replacement kit which never solved my highway shift problem. I ordered this kit to make sure the other kit had the wrong solenoid (it did, and it was from EBay for a 2000 Grand Cherokee 42re). This kit had a slightly different solenoid than my previous kit. Needless to say, it's now working perfectly and solved a problem I've had for years. I had my doubts about ordering this part from Revain but it turned out great. . I had an intermittent check engine light, code p1762. The jeep started in third gear or shifted gears with difficulty. Once you set the pallet down, it only took a few minutes to remove the old part and replace it with this one. I had to add about 6 liters of ATF+4 when everything was assembled.
