Bought for my husband (such a big kid). He loves to. Fits perfectly (pay serious attention to the description and location of the Samsung logo and the camera). The palm grip is his favorite. Only two things are not perfect. The protective film is very blue. It will take some time to get used to. Also, the kickstand only works in the horizontal position as it's in the middle and doesn't reach far enough to support it vertically. These reasons are not enough for him not to love her.

This case should provide adequate protection. However, there are a few problems: A screen protector protects so well that it takes a very heavy hand to type, select, etc. Everything you need to do with a touchscreen requires a very strong touch (more like a swipe). Also, the footrest would be handy if the velcro loop didn't get in the way. I deleted mine. I had to cut. I will also remove the protective film.

After receiving the case from Revain I spent several hours fitting it to my Galaxy 8.0 tablet which I purchased from Revain. I was finally able to attach the plastic case after several hours of trying, but the rubberized part of the case doesn't fit and doesn't match the tablet's buttons.
