My 15 year old son assembled it himself. Very clear instructions. Our 18 pound cat took to the hammock right away. We have two big cats and they live in this tree during the day watching the birds. Very strong! Highly recommended!

My two kittens loved it. The beds upstairs are very comfortable; and a large bowl. I have a large cat and a medium sized cat; both seem to like it. My big kitty fits comfortably in the hideout! Sisal right in the middle of the poles is very pretty; easier for hands to assemble and my kittens can rest their head on the soft part when they lie down.

Update - after 2 years this tree is still standing and not wobbling. All fabrics and ropes are present. You love this thing! I would recommend to all cat owners. I got it for my kittens for Christmas. I am that beloved mother. Easy to assemble, instructions are time consuming. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. Feels sturdy at the moment but my cats can be a bit rough so we'll see in a couple of weeks.

I can't remember the last time I wrote a review but my cats love it. I only received it yesterday so can't comment on durability but it was easy to put together and seems pretty solid. My 18 lb cat has not dared to climb on the bed yet but my 6 lb cat loves it and slept there most of the evening. We are fortunate to have a large window that can be placed right in front for the cats to watch the birds. This is definitely the best purchase I've made in a while and these cats needed it.

This cat tree was delivered in a not very large but very heavy box. There were many parts so I laid everything out on the table and floor and took my time assembling it. I made sure I read the instructions very carefully and used the correct parts for each part of the build process. All the parts were there, and there were even a few extra parts. Super bargain in size and price. I'm 5ft 3in and he's my height. It took about an hour to put together - the instructions were easy to follow and everything came together easily with the Allen key provided. Some hanging fluffy spare balls were included I suppose in case your cat wears out the pre-attached ones.
