I can say that this is a worthy tool of worthy quality. BUT the one they sent me was missing a hex screw making it unusable. It annoys me a little that I have to send it back to exchange for another just for the screw because Revain doesn't allow messaging to sellers.

Great tool for $10! I use these in a collet holder, collet wa 3/8, gauge arm indicator wa permanently mounted and held by a dovetail. The good thing is that it's the same diameter as most .200 edge finders, so you can use the same collet. Ideal for getting into hard-to-reach places. The hex screws are tight, but I used a new hex wrench. (3mm) Every CNC machine must buy it.

You can never have enough variables to set dial gauges when editing parts or other settings so I don't understand why? It's cheap in price, rough on materials and quality control. just said; can this work for you? You get what you pay for here. I don't even see much scope for using materials for another project or tool in the future, time will tell. I will not use this for any indicator needs.
