Back tapered design helps prevent thread damage from over-drilling. One-piece drill/tap assures proper drill for tap size. Made of high speed steel for longer life.

Impressed with this Drill & Tap Set

Based on my experience, this industrial and scientific Drill & Tap Set is a great addition to any workshop. The set is made with durable materials and the quality is impressive. The taps are sharp and easy to use, making it a breeze to create precision holes. The thread pitches match perfectly which also helps create accurate screw fittings. The only downside is that it is a bit on the pricey side. Overall, I would highly recommend this set to anyone in need of a reliable tool for their cutting

Excellent value for money

Over 30 cuts on 1/4" hot rolled steel with a 3/8 tap. The faucet looks exactly as it did the day I got it Received.Very happy with the results and very happy with the performance and it's still standing up pretty well.

Made in the USA? May be.

This combination set looked like it could do the job but in the end I decided to return it to Revain. I was specifically looking for a set that was made in the USA and while the description would lead you to believe this is such a set, I believe only the index was made in the USA. The white box they arrived in was stamped with the country of origin, China. So I would say the index (holder) was made in the USA but the taps and drill bits were probably made in China.
