Very useful

I wasn't sure if I could use these drills but I used the same drill to cut 20 holes in an aluminum profile and each hole came out perfectly (I cut in a hole already drilled in the middle, I didn't use the drilling function of this bit). The only downside is the bits are shorter than I need so I had to cut the last 10mm with a hand tap but it still saved a lot of work and was a lot easier than a hand tap. For those who are skeptical, these drill bits and taps work, you just have to move slowly…

Works well but breaks easily.

Glad there are 5 in the pack as I have 2 left. This type of tool seems to break easily when more than 20 lb-ft of torque is applied. I used them in my Ryobi One+ drills and broke 3 from this set plus 2 from other sources. I cut M5.5 pre-drilled holes in a 2020 aluminum profile, not very hard metal. If you have the opportunity, install them in the drill press at low speed. The design makes the drill prone to vibration around the drill axis and greatly simplifies drill breakage. Cutting oil helps

Great little bits that cut threaded holes with ease!

I've never used combination drills and taps but now I'm wondering how I managed without them. I had to drill and cut some holes in a piece of acrylic for some PCB racks. I've had terrible luck with a drill press and a separate set of taps. I picked them on a whim, although some reviewers have indicated they might break when used on steel. Obviously I shouldn't have a problem with a steel cutter chipping when drilling through plastic, so I gave it a try. Results? Drill holes quickly, cut…
