MUCH better than Speedball's white ink!

Fantastic product! I'm new to the world of screen printing and initially settled on the white Speedball screen ink and it ended up being exactly the opposite of what I had in mind. Speedball's White became opaque, but after drying it became very transparent and it didn't turn out the way I wanted - I needed a very opaque, air-drying white ink for my project. Luckily, this jacquard white turns opaque, dries opaque, and air dries pretty well. I have since bought a heat gun to dry the jacquard ink

Pros
  • The ink does not pill or curl, the surface is durable, abrasion resistant and has a satin finish
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Pretty nice ink

I've just started screen printing and this is the first ink I've bought. I don't have any other brands of water based ink to compare but I've heard other brands are better but it's better than Speedball. I've printed on black t-shirts with white ink with no problems. Apparently white is considered the most difficult to print as it needs to be thicker to be opaque on dark colors. I bought a water based ink softener to mix with the ink (from another site, couldn't find it on Amazon) and it helps…

Pros
  • Water based screen ink
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Really effective

I have just started screen printing and after much research I decided on this ink to use for my design on a dark gray shirt. First, this material is THICK. So thick I thought maybe it was drying out. But I went further and continued to apply it to my screen. At first I didn't add enough ink to my screen because when I started flooding the screen there were a lot of blank streaks. So I added more and finally got a full flood. Then it's time to push the ink through. Since it was my first time…

Pros
  • Archival and fade resistant with excellent detail and coverage
Cons
  • Big and chunky
