Hi Lift Running Gear Cover Black Review

Very good material, not cheap. However, if the jack is hood mounted then there may be problems using this cover. The mounting clips on my hood make it impossible to fully close the cover. I suspect it could be a problem with the side fender and tailgate mounts, but I'm not sure.

For the first time this cover has had to be jacked up on the jeep tailgate jack mount. Because of the mounting screws, I had to cut a 3/4 diameter hole in the lid to fit. The first time I tried to close the zipper, the zipper broke. Due to the 'hole' I made in the product I doubt they will replace it - seller please let me know if this is wrong.

I love this product. My Hi-Lift is installed in my Jeep and the jack is a bit noisy both on and off road. As soon as I put the cap on, the noise stopped. I can also spray some lube on the transmission and rest assured there will be no mess in my jeep. The case is solid, well made and fits like a glove. I definitely recommend this product.

I first bought one of the neoprene covers for my jack and it looked great for a while. Even after using a UV blocker it ended up messing up and looking pretty bad. I saw this device and decided to try it. When I opened the box I was surprised at how nice it looked as the photos really don't do it justice. Easy to install, although I had to reposition my jack on the hood, it was easy and looked really good once installed.

This case is perfect for keeping my High Lift UTV jacks oiled, dry and clean at all times. All made of high quality material, drain hole, strong zipper! On my high-lift jack, I raise the handle/climbing pins/nose 3-4 holes depending on which side you're facing from your foot, since I mount my jack to my UTV with the safety frame of the mounting brackets have. I just received this and installed it today. I have some pros and cons and I hope to help others before they spend money on it. Pros: Appears to be high quality material. Lightning works fine. Very easy to install. fasten it due to the location of the hood latches. I managed to pull it all the way up but it doesn't feel secure in the end. The sealed drain hole is on one side only. So if your jack is on the side, like on the hood, chances are it's pointing up rather than down like mine. I'll try
