Make a tortilla like you would at a restaurant!

Love these other pans! I love taco salad. Now I can cook it at home like a pro! My advice: Spray on the pan and then after you put the tortilla in, spray again and pierce in several places to avoid bloating. I can't believe the result! It's like restaurant quality at home!

Strange. The reviews here do not match the product.

This product is a taco tong, not a taco press. All reviews here discuss abs, not forceps. Tong doesn't work. If the owner wants to make a demo video here, that might invalidate my rating. I've tried everything. The owner can email me at the official address charlieemail@gmail.com

As expected!

This tortilla press creates perfect 6 inch diameter tortillas. It is very well made and I had no problems with it falling off. I would recommend placing the ball of dough towards the top rather than the center when using it as it will push the cake out of the plate when you close the press towards the lever causing a bit of chaos.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Lightly ribbed

I'm not a fan of bowls

Very light weight. I expected it to be heavier. I only used it twice because it didn't squeeze the cakes thin enough. Maybe I did something wrong, but I still had to roll out the cake after pressing it with it. And I felt like I was going to break it, which I didn't want to do, so I wasn't pushing very hard. I'm not a fan. I don't like it very much.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No mold required

Ideal for preparing flatbread and mini pizzas!

This press is great for making tortillas! I use it all the time to make flatbread. I divide the dough into balls and flatten them in this press. It's a lot quicker than rolling them out by hand. This also works for mini pizzas. I use Glad Press'n Seal to coat the top and bottom of the press; Then I spray the top and bottom with nonstick spray before pressing the dough down. Cleaning is garbage.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Mine went in the trash. Ridiculous design.

The ONLY way to cook both sides of tacos with this unit is if you have a 4-6 inch skillet/fryer. The bend in the pliers is at a completely ridiculous angle. For use with a regular frying pan, some oil, you can use these tongs to fry ONLY ONE side of the taco shell. The tongs will NOT flip so the other side of the taco body cooks in the oil. Interestingly, they COULD bend the tongs a few degrees out of phase, and everything would fit perfectly in a regular frying pan. They didn't. Mine went in…

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Expandable
